Artist's Statement

I am interested in the process and the various outcomes established by the relationship between man and his surroundings through sensory impression. I develop works that suggest the viewer to toggle one’s range of rational thoughts and spontaneous feelings. My pieces work in interdisciplinary media such as photography, installation, performance and sculpture. always seeking an active relationship with the viewer. I try to isolate one’s perception and consequently transform it to de-automate the effects produced by the senses and re-integrate them into a new whole. I think that by completing and emphasizing the nature of things around us through the power of art I can oppose fatalism, easy answers, and accepted status quo.
